ARTISTIC STATEMENT

Whether I'm walking along the coast listening to breaking waves or walking along a path listening to bird song, I am so taken by how wonderful our world is. All life, no matter what form it takes, is precious. There is beauty in all. There is knowledge in all. There is consciousness in all, whether it walks, swims or just is. My intention with my photography is to accurately see the natural world and to strengthen our connection to that world and the creatures living in it.

I love a close-up photograph. Meeting eye to eye is an important step in creating in any relationship for me, it’s especially important in creating connection.
