Beginning PRINTmaking Workshop with Brielle Legallet
Learn the basic techniques to carving linoleum to create a reusable stamp. During this class you will learn the different methods to transfer images onto your carving block. There will be instruction on each of the different blade accessories to the carving tool.

About the Event
Learn to carve your ideas onto reusable carving blocks and print them onto paper.. During this class you will learn the different methods to transfer images onto your carving block. There will be instruction on each of the different blade accessories to the carving tool.Â
This course is designed with beginning students in mind, as well as all learning styles.Â
Materials:Â
We will provide carving tools and other materials needed for successful printing. You will take your linoleum block and all your prints home.
INSTRUCTOR:
Brielle Legalet has an Interdisciplinary Visual Arts degree from University of Washington, with a focus on printmaking.  Learned different techniques of incorporating different mediums and textures into pieces. Also, minored in Architecture, so highly interested in structures.  Brielle creates scenes by inteposing images to create a story.  Besides printing,Brielle enjoys painting, wood burning, and trying sewing projects.  She and her family have made their home in Pacifica, where they enjoy the nature of this coastal town  and the welcoming community.
