ABOUT THE ARTIST: JUDE PITTMAN MEET THE ARTIST | Jude PITTMAN Enjoy the new works depicting the relationships in our lives. Oil on canvas
JUDE PITTMAN began her artistic journey as a self-taught artist. Pittman then became part of a small group of American artists to run a new grassroots art center in downtown Oakland, The Upstairs Art Association. She received a Masters in Art degree from San Francisco State University and proceeded to teach art at the college level throughout the Bay Area. Pittman is best known for her large scale public art mosaics. You will find her work throughout the United States. Be sure to stop by the gallery to see her books depicting these grand pieces.
