About the Event

ERIKA ANKINS | A TALK ON ENCAUSTIC. Please join us for a very special event, as we showcase new works by Erika Adkins and host the artist as she demonstrates encaustic (hot wax) painting. This artform dates back to 1st Century AD Egypt and Greece. The oldest surviving encaustic panel paintings are found in Egypt dating back to 100-300 AD.
